Wir suchen Produktionen für die fünfte Ausgabe des internationalen Theaterfestivals für die Allerkleinsten: WIR WOLLEN SPIELEN! ist ein internationales Theaterfestival für das junge Publikum ab 2 Jahren, präsentiert vom HoheLuftschiff Kindertheater. Seit 2022 zeigen wir in diesem Format zeitgenössische Stücke, die mutig sind, das Neue suchen und damit spielen wollen – let’s play!

Ein besonderer Fokus liegt dabei auf zukunftsweisenden und interdisziplinären Produktionen, die sich bewusst nicht immer um Kategorien kümmern und neue Wege einschlagen. Wir schwimmen unter allen Grenzen hindurch, und segelten in den bisherigen Ausgaben schon von Theater, über Tanz, zu Performance, Clownerie, Zirkus, Objekttheater, Drag, Radio-Ballett, bildende Kunst, Musik und Puppenspiel. Mit WIR WOLLEN SPIELEN! möchten wir zeigen, wie vielfältig, poetisch, mutig, spielerisch und fantasievoll Kindertheater sein kann.

ZIELGRUPPE: Wir suchen vor allem Produktionen in der Spanne zwischen 2 - 12 Jahren, vorrangig für Kita-Kinder. Produktionen ausschließlich für Schulkinder ab 7+ passen leider nicht zu unserer Zielgruppe.

ORT: Das Festival findet an Bord des HoheLuftschiff Kindertheater (Hamburg, DE) und Open Air statt. Da wir als Schiff eine begrenzte Bühnenmaße haben, schaut euch bitte hier an welcher Spielort für euer Stück passen könnte.

- Indoor: Theaterbühne 5mx5m, Publikum frontal

- Indoor: Atrium im Zuschauerraum, Publikum sitzt auf drei Seiten

- Outdoor: mit oder ohne unserer mobilen Bühne als Backdrop

ZEIT: Das Festival soll im Juni 2027 stattfinden. Der Open Call endet am 30. September.

- Sichtungslink, Infos zum Stück, ein paar Worte zu euch

- Grobe Kalkulation für Gage & Reisekosten, Anzahl der Personen die anreisen

- Spielort: Welche der verschiedenen Optionen passt für euer Stück?

- Barrierefreiheit und Inklusion: Ist eure Produktion in irgendeiner Form barrierefrei?

- Empfohlene Alterspanne des Stücks

HINWEIS: Aktuell ist die Finanzierung des Festivals noch nicht gesichert, wir sind aber guter Dinge.

We're looking for productions for the fifth edition of the international theatre festival for the very youngest: WIR WOLLEN SPIELEN! is an international theatre festival for young audiences ages 2+, presented by HoheLuftschiff Kindertheater. Since 2022, we've been showing contemporary pieces in this format that are bold, seek out the new, and want to play with it – let's play!

A special focus lies on forward-looking, interdisciplinary productions that consciously don't always stick to categories and instead chart new paths. We swim beneath all borders, and in past editions have sailed from theatre, through dance, to performance, clowning, circus, object theatre, drag, radio ballet, visual art, music, and puppetry. With WIR WOLLEN SPIELEN! we want to show how diverse, poetic, bold, playful, and imaginative children's theatre can be.

TARGET AUDIENCE: We're mainly looking for productions in the range of 2–12 years, primarily for kindergarten-age children. Productions exclusively for school-age children 7+ unfortunately don't fit our target audience.

LOCATION: The festival takes place aboard the HoheLuftschiff Kindertheater (Hamburg, DE) and open air. As a ship, our stage space is limited, so please check here which performance space could work for your piece. All information and visualization here.

· Indoor: theatre stage 5x5m, audience frontal

· Indoor: atrium in the auditorium, audience seated on three sides

· Outdoor: with or without our mobile stage as a backdrop

TIME: The festival is planned for June 2027 in Hamburg, DE.
The open call closes on September 30, 2026.
